I've been fortunate to participate in many Quintessa tastings. The most memorable was last year in May with family members at the winery(that's me, 2nd from the right, behind my sister, Debbie). Irma presented us with a magnum of '05 Faust (there, in the middle of the table-empty no doubt) as a parting gift from Randy, which we promptly took to The Rutherford Grill just across from the B. V. Rutherford House where we were staying (thanks to Todd).
I want this blog to keep it's focus on the internship, but let's face it, if you have to listen to too much of my spineless ramblings on how petrified I am, I may lose you before I even get to the Texas/New Mexico border.
This Thursday I will attend a luncheon with the Quintessa folks and RNDC at The Screen Door. Brenna, our Wine Girl (sommelier) at Bob's, is joining me. It should be lots of fun!
